How it works

Generation runs entirely in your browser using real Unicode code points. The tool separates genuinely zero-width characters from blank-looking ones that still take up space, and lets you test what survives a paste.

What is invisible text?

Invisible text is a string made of Unicode characters that draw no visible symbol. They are real characters with real code points, so you can copy them, count them and paste them like any other text – you just cannot see them. People use them for blank usernames, empty chat messages, spacing in bios and layout tricks.

Zero-width vs blank-looking characters

Zero-width characters, such as the zero width space (U+200B) or word joiner (U+2060), take up no horizontal space at all. Blank-looking characters, such as Hangul Filler (U+3164), Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800) or the em space (U+2003), look empty but push other text sideways. This generator labels each character so you can pick the right kind instead of guessing.

Use Empty text for a string that looks empty, Blank space when you need visible gaps, Custom length for an exact number of characters, Repeater for repeated copies with a separator, Inserter to hide characters between the letters of your own text, and Blank lines for lines that look empty. The live counter shows code points, UTF-16 units and UTF-8 bytes, which is what platforms with length limits usually measure.

Will it work in every app?

No, and no generator can promise that. Websites, games and messengers filter characters differently: some strip zero-width characters, some require at least one visible letter, and some count the length differently. Paste the result into the target app, or into the test box on this page, to see what is kept. If one character is rejected, try another from the library.
